3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid For Sale

Fire suppression systems can wear down over time, whether they are used frequently or not. However, most modern fire suppression systems are equipped with the best fire suppression clean agents available, such as Novec-1230.

At Control Fire Systems, we can help you get equipped with the Novec-1230 product line in Canada and across the USA, and we buy and sell all of our Novec-1230 products to our clients.

Advantages of Novec 1230

The Novec 1230 boasts several advantages over older suppression agents that go beyond the reduction of harm to our environment – the Novec 1230 is typically equipped with a total flooding system, meaning that when a sensor is triggered by heat or smoke, a mass flooding of the area is initiated in order to suppress the fire in seconds.

The Novec 1230 is also versatile and safe for various circumstances and conditions, and is able to effectively suppress Class A, B, and C fire hazards all while leaving no residue. It uses a non-conductive material, meaning that it is able to safely and effectively suppress fires in data centers, server rooms, or other mass electronic areas without causing damage to sensitive electronics. In addition, because there is no residue left behind, your electronics can stay up and running after the release of Novec 1230.

The 5-day atmospheric lifetime of Novec 1230 also offers zero Ozone Depletion Potential, and a Global Warming Potential of less than 1. Novec 1230 provides the highest known margin of safety for human occupancy.

Purchase Procedure

Control Fire Systems makes it easy for you to sell us your dated Halon and HFCs.

We will first determine the price that you will be paid for the sale of your Halon gas or HFCs. In order to determine the price, we will need to know some basic information from you, including:

  1. How many cylinders do you possess?
  2. How many kgs of the agent are in the cylinders?

Based on this information, we will be able to determine a purchase value using the current commodity price of your old suppression agents. Once these steps are all lined up and agreed upon, we will generate a purchase order.

Control Fire Systems will arrange for the transportation of your dangerous goods, and is here to help you at any step along the way, including understanding Bill of Lading terminology, supplying dangerous goods truck placards if needed, and providing the necessary MSDS sheets for the materials being shipped.

Within 72 hours of receiving the tanks, we will provide you with detailed weight information (total weight of tank - tare weight & nitrogen loss = agent weight received). We will then ask you for an invoice for the total amount in order for us to pay you.
